Really nice work ! :)
Especially some materials (vase, light on the left) are extremely realistic.
Would you tell me where you got that wooden floor texture and how you made the wall (it isnīt just a simple color, is it ? :D)

Thank you, I'm glad you like my work.
The wooden floor texture is from vray-materials.de, but I don't remember the actual material I got it from. You can send me a note with your email and I'll send you the texture if you want.

The wall was a real problem for this scene because I couldn't find anything to balance the rest of the room and in the end, it was pure luck and trial and error that led to that finish. It's a simple vray material with a plain color for diffuse. I set the reflect value to 0.4 or 0.5 (matte). The reflect subdiv. were also set to low (5-6) just to obtain a little noise from the natural light from the window.

I had a look through your gallery and you have some impressive artwork yourself. I wish I could make some nice exteriors, but sadly I am still a noob at those and learning (my PC is not helping either).

I hope I was of help. I'll wait for your email to send you the texture.

Keep up the good work
Cheers!

Thanks a lot, I will have a look at VRay-Materials ! :)

Yeah, I know that problem with exteriors, I also can only use <30 trees when I use grass proxies, my PC doesnīt allow more :(
I lost a bit of interest in continuing with 3D because of low FPS, high Rendertimes and so on and so on ^^ Hope it will get better when I buy a new PC :)

But your work is also really nice, the lighting is impressive and really realistic.
Thanks a lot for taking the time to write that comment and thanks a lot for the :+fav: s ! :)

Keep up the good work ! ;)

This looks really good! GJ. I(my mum, really) have wine glasses about that big :) They are of course alot larger than the normal wine glass, but still not unrealistic imo. Great to see that everything isn't too clean like alot of 3D renders sometimes are.

Beautiful! almost perfect, my only disturbtion was the glass on the ground, it looks like it's to big. But I don't know for sure, it can be a matter of perspective. I like the floor and the lamp in the foreground, really well done!

Thank you for your kind words. You have a point there with the glass,it is a bit large, but it's not that large is it?

You're right it's not THAT large, but I did think at first glance that it was ever so slightly too big. As a previous comment said, it might just be perspective ^_^
You can get large wine glasses like that but it's bigger than the average glass I think.

Superb work otherwise though! Truly seamless.

Wonderful lighting.
Only one thing...the glass of wine on the floor is out of scale(in my opinion).
